St. Clair has 12 Montevallo grads

More than 350 University of Montevallo students received their diplomas at spring commencement May 7. Gen. Charles “Chuck” Krulak, retired commandant of the U.S. Marine Corps and newly appointed president of Birmingham-Southern College, was the keynote speaker. University of Montevallo president John W. Stewart III conferred degrees upon some 257 candidates for bachelor’s degrees, 76 candidates for master’s degrees and 19 candidates for the educational specialist degree.
