Victory Christian senior Patrick Elliott tied for third place in the Class 2A sectional golf tournament last week, qualifying for the sub-state tournament Monday at Silver Lakes in Glencoe. He was the varsity boys’ individual runner up in the county tournament, shooting a 77, his personal best score of the season. Mason Mitchell of Springville had the low score of 73. John Henry of Springville was the boys junior varsity winner with a score of 52 in the nine-hole match.
