Dominance reigned supreme for Sunday’s winner of the Honda Grand Prix of Alabama IZOD IndyCar race, and with a name like Will Powers-why wouldn’t it? Powers ruled the weekend from start to finish. He was awarded the pole position after Friday’s qualifier and led the entire race on Sunday.

“That was one of the most relaxing races I have ever had,” he said. “Everything went perfect this weekend.”
The win launched Powers in first place in the point standings.
The IZOD IndyCar race was just one of several events, including Saturday’s Porsche 250 that entertained close to 80,000 this weekend at Barber Motorsports Park.
