- Colton Echols, defended here by Ashville’s William Johnson during a regular season game, scored 25 points against Faith Christian.
Colton Echols sank seven three-pointers against Faith Christian, but it wasn’t enough to keep Ragland’s Purple Devils alive in the post-season.
Echols scored a total of 25 points, grabbing four rebounds and two steals, and Jimmy Brock added 17 point during the Devils’ 62-61 sub-region loss. John Arnold added 8, Karson Winn scored five, Devin Wilson scored 4, and Ethan Burnham scored 2.
“I was proud of the way we battled back in this game,” coach Andy Eden said. “This team’s effort was good all season. They also made tremendous improvement from last year. They have set the stage for great things for Ragland basketball in the future.”
