Brides-to-be in the Pell City area will be able to get a jump on their wedding planning during the second-annual Pell City Bridal Show organized by Ami’s Arts and Crafts of Pell City.
From 1 to 4:30 p.m. Feb. 27, a variety of vendors from near and far will be available at Celebrations in Pell City to help brides finalize their wedding plans.
“You can purchase a wedding gown on site, you can order invitations, tuxedos, flowers — Most shows will allow you to speak to the vendor and see pictures, but here, you can actually purchase and reserve things,” said W. G. Benefield, owner of Ami’s.
On-site body wraps and a punch tasting table will be available throughout the event, and St. Clair County residents can even get marriage license forms and other information from a booth set up by Probate Judge Mike Bowling’s office. The event itself even takes place at a popular local wedding venue.
At 3 p.m., a mock wedding will take place, showcasing both traditional ideas and new wedding day trends, with a fashion show to follow.
Door prizes will be given out throughout the day, which includes dress preservation services, free rental of a punch fountain, facials, a three-day Caribbean honeymoon and other prizes.
Tickets are $6 for adults and $3.50 for students, and are available at the door.
