The official title of the hospital coming to Pell City will be St. Vincent’s St. Clair Hospital, but local residents are encouraged to put their name to the project, as well. A beam signing ceremony for the hospital will take place at 2:30 p.m. Nov. 18 at the Jefferson State Community College.

The final steel beam for the hospital’s construction will be available for people to sign their names to or write bible verses on, before it is placed onto the building’s skeleton.

St. Vincent’s St. Clair is scheduled to open in Fall 2011, and will replace the current hospital on Dr. John Haynes Drive
