An overnight storm front moved through the area bringing down tree branches and dumping down two inches of rain.

The front affected most of the state, with one person in the Tuscumbia area reportedly killed by lightning. There are also unconfirmed reports of possible tornadoes, including some in the Cullman area.

In the tri-county area, most of the damage had to do with downed tree lines and there are no confirmed injuries. There are also no confirmed reports of building or road damages.

The forecast calls for scattered thunderstorms and high winds again tomorrow with the possibility of more rain on Wednesday. After that, the forecast calls for sunny skies until early next week.
