Fall Festival to take place Oct. 9

The St. Clair Historical Society will host their annual Fall Festival from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Oct. 9 on the grounds of the John Looney House Pioneer Museum in Beaver Valley.
Tours of the 1820 two-story log house will be available alongside various period demonstrations, including blacksmithing, wood carving, Indian-style basket weaving, butter churning, lye soap production. and many others.
The Looney House is located five miles souh of the Ashville Couthouse via Highway 231 and Greensport Road. Admission is $4 for adults and $2 for children,a nd will help furnish a new roof for the Looney House. Large families will not pay more than $20.
