Rick Kennedy, a Springville High School graduate, has earned the rank of Eagle Scout.

Rick joined Center Point’s Troop 11 in 2002 and has since developed as a natural leader, according to Scoutmaster Mike Harris.  He is involved with the youth ministries of CrossPoint Baptist Church in Argo and recently supervised the construction and installation of picnic tables at the park in Springville.  

Set to attend UAB this fall, Rick plans to study physics and engineering in preparation for a career as a Naval submarine officer.  He is the son of Richard and Terri Kennedy of Odenville.
