Residents needing food assistance can begin the application process on July 6.

Call the Argo Community Food Bank at (205) 352-2134 and leave your name and phone number. A volunteer will call to schedule an appointment date at a time that is convenient for you to meet with the Food Bank.

The first distribution day will be July 24 between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. at the Food Bank’s facility at the new Argo Town Hall (100 Black Jack Road, Argo).

The Argo Community Food Bank is located at the back of the building.

Join the Food Bank on July 22 between 10 a.m. and noon for its ribbon cutting ceremony. The open house will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Stop by during one of those times to tour the facility and meet the volunteers. Light refreshments will be served.
