Free Family Folk Art Workshop Monday

- The workshop is an opportunity to enjoy a fun-filled day of art during the summer.
The Leeds Arts Council and the Leeds Jane Culbreth Library are sponsoring a Free Family Folk Art Workshop 10 a.m. Monday, June 28, at the Leeds Jane Culbreth Library.
The workshop kicks off festivities leading up to the Leeds Folk Festival in September.
This event is co-sponsored by the Leeds Arts Council, the Leeds Jane Culbreth Library, the City of Leeds and the Community Foundation of Greater Birmingham.
Toby Richards from the Birmingham Museum of Art will be instructing students in folk art techniques.
The class is open to students going into grades 3 through 5, and students must be accompanied by a parent or grandparent.
Only 25 students will be accepted, and spots may be reserved by calling 699-5962.
