Junior Miss Hosting Celebrity Dinner Monday in Odenville

The 2010 St. Clair County Junior Miss contestants.

On Monday, May 17, the St. Clair County Junior Miss Scholarship Program will host its “Teaming Up for Scholarships” Celebrity Waiter Dinner from 5:30-8:30 p.m. at St. Clair County High School cafeteria in Odenville.

Local community leaders will “team up” with 13 program contestants to raise funds for college scholarships at this fun, family-oriented, and casual event. 

Celebrity waiters this year include:

Dewayne Taylor, Office Manager, Alabama Power Company, Leeds Business Office;

Jeff Brown, St. Clair County Commissioner;

Freddie Turrentine, Lieutenant, St. Clair County Sheriff’s Department;

Gary Hanner, Associate Editor, The St. Clair Times;

Dennis Russell, Coroner, St. Clair County;

Larry Golden, Realtor, Curtis White Company;

Ken Crowe, St. Clair County Commissioner;

Marie Manning, Jefferson State Community College—St. Clair County;

Andrea Machen, Executive Director, Moody Chamber of Commerce;

Mike Bowling, St. Clair County Probate Judge;

Don Smith, Executive Director, St. Clair County Economic Development Council;

Kathy Bowman, Manager, Metro Bank, Moody Branch; and

Bill Morris, General Manger, Leeds Water Works.
