Mrs. Una E. Teague

Graveside services for Mrs. Una E. Teague of Pell City, age 96, were held Monday, March 29, 2010 at Oak Ridge Cemetery with Rev. Sherry Reynolds officiating.

Mrs. Teague passed away Friday, March 26, 2010 at her residence.

She is preceded in death by her parents, George and Susie (Purdy) Matthews; sister, Ada D. King; husbands, Hughey J. Robertson and William H. Teague; daughter, Joette Southern; and grandson, Mark Southern.

Mrs. Teague is survived by her daughter, Carolyn (Billy K.) Drummonds of Pell City; granddaughters, Billie Drummonds and Terry Ann Tyler of Pell City; grandson, Mike Southern of Birmingham; and great grandsons, Hunter Southern of Birmingham, and Zachary Drummonds of Pell City.

She was born October 5, 1913 in Stevenson, Alabama. When Mrs. Teague was young, the family moved to Pell City where she attended school, married her late husband, Hughey J. Robertson, and reared two daughters. She was a member of the Pell City First United Methodist Church. After being unable to attend services, she enjoyed the home visits from members of Christian Outreach.
