Pell City’s varsity soccer teams will play at Chelsea at 5:30 and 7:30 p.m. Friday. 

Both teams hosted Pinson Valley in a region make-up game on Monday, with the Lady Panthers fending off a second half rally to win, 2-1, while the Panthers lost by the same score.

Katie Compton scored one goal, assisted by Aliyah Bentley, and Miss Bentley scored the other goal on a penalty kick. 

The win boosted the Lady Panthers’ record to 5-3 in the region and 8-4 overall.

Owen Falkner scored the Panthers’ lone goal Monday, assisted by Stephen Hollis.  Pell City dropped to 1-8 overall and remains winless in region play.
