The Moody Blue Devils boys’ tennis team defeated Springville, 8-1, in sectional play on March 16.  Moody’s overall record this season is 3-3, while Springville slipped to 0-7.

Moody was led by senior Jay Patel, who won both his singles and doubles matches.  Springville’s number two singles player, Jake Degaris, scored an 8-5 win against Jeromy McIntosh, providing the Tigers’ sole win.

Springville’s girls’ team defeated the Lady Blue Devils, 6-3. Along with a victory against Pell City on Thursday, March 18, the Lady Tigers have improved their season record to 3-6, while Moody’s girls slipped to 1-6
