Happy anniversary to Jack and Margie Daffron and Jerry and Joyce Poe and I wish them many more to come.

Condolences are extended to the family of Rilla Layton in the recent loss of their loved one.

On Sunday afternoon, February 7, Brother Ted St. John and his wife, Jane, came up to Gadsden and visited with Jerry. It really meant a lot to Jerry and he really enjoyed them visiting him and talking about the older days. I would like to say that I really appreciate and thank Brother Ted and Jane for their visit.

Also, some of Jerry’s relatives came up to see him which were: Barbara Ann and her husband Richard Guthrie of Pell City, Alice Brown of Ragland and Nancy and her husband Gerald Robertson of Oneonta. There were also a couple of friends from Ragland that came up and visited with Jerry and he really enjoyed everyone’s visit.

There are several people sick and in the hospital and I wish them all the best.

John “Jabo” and Lynda Trammell of Pinson recently visited with some of their relatives in Ragland.
