Click it or Ticket this Memorial Day Weekend

The Pell City Police Department will be conducting a Click It or Ticket campaign this Memorial Day weekend.

Lt. Danny Holmes of the PCPD said that law enforcement officers will be aggressively looking at anything from car tag certification, to seatbelt violations and DUI’s in an effort to keep the streets safer this holiday weekend.

The campaign was initiated after federal grant money was secured that would pay for the officers to be out patrolling during what can sometimes be a deadly weekend on highways and interstates.
