Lady Tigers Roll Up Hayden

After tying the score 1-1 in the first, the Springville Lady Tigers were up 2-1 in the third before tacking on another six points in the sixth inning to win 8-1 over Hayden on Monday.
Savanna Hennings took to the circle and launched enough missiles to strike out 14 batters while allowing two hits.
At the plate Brittany Dunn went one for three with a double and two runs. Taylor Earley was also one for three with one run; Kirsten Gipson was two for four with two RBIs and a double while Hennings went one for three at bat.
Springville 3, Corner 0
Springville got all the bat work done in the first inning and held onto the lead for the win against No. 1 Class 4A Corner at the Whitney Wise Memorial Tournament.
Gipson was one for two with an RBI, a run and a double; Hennings was one for two and Danyelle Martin was also one for two with an RBI.
Hennings had 10 strikeouts and allowed only one hit in that game.
Springville 1, Alexandria 0
McKinley Tribble had five strikeouts while going the distance against No. 2 Class 4A Alexandria.
A Gipson RBI in the first inning that put Morgan Griggs over home plate secured the Lady Tiger victory. Gipson was one for two while Griggs went one for three. Taylor Earley was also one for three.

The Lady Tigers came to play and had six runs in the first and tacked on another four in the fifth for the win at home.
Hennings had five strikeouts in two innings; Mallory Waldrop had one in two innings while Tribble had two K’s in one inning.
Morgan Griggs went one for three with an RBI, a double and one run; Brittany Dunn was one for two with a run; Danyelle Martin was one for one with a double, and RBI and two runs; Kelsey Ray was one for one with an RBI; Kirsten Gipson went one for two with two RBIs and a run; Savanna Hennings was one for one with a double; Tanner Earley went one for three with a run and an RBI; Ashley Wise was one for three with one run and a double and Sydne Waldrop was one for three with a run.
