Last week the Springville Lady Tigers lost 3-2 to Oak Mountain at home. Savanna Hennings had nine strikeouts and allowed five hits and one walk.

In the batter’s box, Kirsten Gipson went two for three; Tanner Earley was one for three with a run and Morgan Griggs was one for three.

The Lady Tigers got their second win of the season as McKinley Tribble brought the heat and struck out 13 Lady Blue Devils.

Kirsten Gipson was three for five at the plate with one homerun that yielded an RBI. Brittany Dunn was three for five with two RBIs; Katelyn Moore was two for three with two RBIs and Morgan Griggs was two for four with a run and two RBIs.

The Lady Tigers opened up their season with win over Erwin in five innings. Mallory Waldrop had 12 strikeouts in that game while allowing only one hit.

At the plate, Ashley Wise went one for three and had two runs and two RBIs while Dixie Rhodes was one for four with a run and two RBIs.
