The Ashville Lady Bulldogs (8-3 as of Monday) were downed 38-45 by Etowah last week.

Senior Mara Mattison and sophomore Jacie Tipton tied as the top scorers, each bringing 11 points in that game while junior Lori Stephenson had nine buckets that night.

Ashville 65, St. Clair 39

The first quarter saw the Lady Saints up by one at the close as the score stood 14-15, St. Clair. At the half the Lady bulldogs were up 28-22.

The Lady Bulldogs opened up in the throttle in the second half and St. Clair couldn’t keep pace as the third quarter closed out 46-28, Ashville.

Ashville 42, Oneonta 41

The Lady Bulldogs were up 12-9 at the close of the first and 25-17 at the half.

Oneonta closed the gap by the end of the third as the scoreboard read 31-38, Ashville, before the Lady Bulldogs were able to seal the area win.

Junior Kim Fuller brought her A-game that night and had 13 buckets while Mara Mattison and Kristen O’Barr had eight apiece.
