Rosetta Hammett Lawley

Graveside services for Mrs. Rosetta Hammett Lawley, 97, of Ashville, were held Monday, April 21, 2008 at St. Clair Memorial Gardens with Reverend Vint Arnold officiating.

Mrs. Lawley passed away Friday, April 18, 2008 in Anniston.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Porter Eugene Lawley.

Mrs. Lawley is survived by her son, Ellis (Diane) Lawley of Ashville; daughters, Miriam (John) Wilkes of Sunset Beach, North Carolina, Joyce Ten (Dick) Eyke of Ft. Lauderdale Florida; grandchildren, Diane Picollo, Dale Williams, Johnny Wilkes, Chris Wilkes, Leah Baker, Libby Perry, Adam Lawley, Phil Campbell, Gary Campbell, Jason Campbell, Lisa Willis; 19 great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Adam Lawley, DeWayne Baker, John Perry, Dustin Baker, Jacob Baker and Micah Baker.

Mrs. Lawley lived in Shoal Creek Valley in Ashville for 60 years.

Usrey Funeral Home of Pell City directed the services.
