Several hundred attend Taste of St. Clair
Friday was a night of food and fun as hundreds of locals flocked to Celebrations to explore the culinary delights of the Pell City area during the Pell City FFA’s Taste of St. Clair County.
With 22 vendors serving everything from Big Deddy’s wings to Red Diamond tea, attendees were able to sample a wide variety of foods available in their own backyard.
FFA Alumni President Gary Kendrick estimated 300 tickets were sold for the three-hour event. “It’s lower than what we’ve done in the past, but with the economy as it is, we’re tickled to death,” he said.
According to Kendrick, the money raised during the event will go toward advancing agricultural education in the Pell City area and across St. Clair County.
