Get Organized in 2016 at the Pell City Library

Organizing your space and prioritizing your time can be an achievable goal in the New Year! If organizing your life and living spaces is one of your New Year’s resolutions, or if you’d just like some great tips from a pro, you’ll want to head to the Pell City Library on Wednesday, Jan. 20 at noon, when special guest Lisa Phillips presents, “Let’s Get Organized.” From kitchen to closet, desk to to-do list, Lisa will share time-tested strategies to create order and increase productivity in our homes and workspaces.

As a Productivity Specialist and owner of SimpleWorks, Lisa has more than 20 years of experience training people to incorporate organizational systems and habits that help them to maximize their time and increase their productivity. Through seminars, and private consultations, she inspires clients and business personnel to create orderly, stress-free environments, ultimately simplifying their lives.

Ms. Phillips has worked as a time management and productivity strategist with various companies, including St. Vincent’s Hospital, Barber’s Dairy, U.S. Federal Bankruptcy Courts,

ReMax, HealthSpring of Alabama, The Alabama Institute for the Deaf and Blind, Burr Forman, and more. She has also served as a coach and mentor, in what she considers one of her most rewarding roles, for REV Birmingham’s, “The Big Pitch.”

As a featured editor for Shelby Living Magazine, she pens an ongoing column entitled, “The Simple Life.” She is a regular guest, appearing monthly, on the segment “Talk of Alabama,” for Birmingham’s ABC-33/40 television station as well. She is also a Senior Sales Director for Mary Kay Cosmetics with over 300 customers and consultants.

Ms. Phillips will share her expertise as part of the library’s ongoing Wild and Wonderful Wednesday series scheduled for Wednesday, Jan. 20 at noon. This interactive program is free and open to the public. And light refreshments will be served afterwards.
