St. Clair Farmers Federation hosts Quilt Show

Recently, the St. Clair County Farmers Federation Women’s Leadership Committee hosted a quilt show. Women gathered to appreciation the craftsmanship in each quilt presented by one another.

The show’s competition had four categories. Those categories were Table Runner, Baby Quilt, Full-Size Hand Quilted and Full-Size Machine Quilted.

In the Table Runner category, Loretta Morgan placed first, Tamara Rashleigh placed second and Ann Hamilton came in third place.

In the Baby Quilt category, Loretta Morgan placed first again, with Tamara Rashleigh in second and Ruby Nuss in third. The honorable mentions for this category were Joan Butler and Ann Hamilton.

In the Hand Quilted category, Ruby Nuss won first place. Loretta Morgan placed second and Tamara Rashleigh took third.

For the Machine Quilted portion of the competition, Melanie Harville placed first with her Log Cabin quilt and Tamara Rashleigh  won second with her I Spy quilt.
