Springville egg hunt is March 31

Springville’s Big Springs Park is set to host its yearly Easter egg hunt next Saturday, March 31st at 10:00 a.m. A big draw for the community, the event continues to grow every year, which means the Springville Area Chamber of Commerce (SACC) who sponsors the Easter egg hunt can always use more volunteers.

Lisa Morgan, SACC’s recording secretary, asks for all volunteers to be at Big Springs Park at 8:00 a.m. next Saturday, March 31st to prepare for the Easter egg hunt at 10:00 a.m.

“It’s great to see first hand the kid’s excitement,” said Morgan. “This event is one way the chamber gives back to our community. Local businesses donate the eggs and this year we have enlisted the Springville Senior Citizens Center to help fill the eggs.”

Everyone is welcome to come seek out thousands of eggs to be found throughout Big Springs Park.

Adding to the area’s sense of community spirit the Big Springs Park Easter egg hunt continues to be one of Springville’s most revered events.

“This event has grown each and every year, and this one is no exception,” said Morgan. “The park will be divided into sections for different age groups. Everyone is welcome, but please be on time. Once the whistle blows, it doesn’t take long!”

Free to the public, the City of Springville looks forward to seeing you next Saturday, March 31 at 10:00 a.m. at Big Springs Park.
