Rubye Hall Edge Sisson, age 86, of Ragland, AL passed away on August 7, 2012. Visitation was held on Wednesday, August 8 from 6 until 9 p.m. at Kilgroe Funeral Home. Services were Thursday, August 9 at 11 a.m. at Ragland Methodist Church with interment at the adjoining cemetery. Mrs. Sisson is survived by her 2 sons, Dr. Windon Edge, Jr., John Edge, daughter, Lynn Reeves, step son, Robert Sisson, step daughter, Katherine Hardiman, 6 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, 9 step grandchildren, 5 step great grandchildren. She was a member of Ragland Methodist Church, a Board member of the St. Clair County Historical Society, a member of the St. Clair County Library Board, Northeast Alabama Genealogical Society, Ragland Historical Society, and a member of the JSU Alumni Association. She was former Miss Senior St. Clair County. Mrs. Sisson taught mathematics in Anniston, Atlanta, Cobb County, and St/ Clair County schools.
