Memorial service for Ella Grace Martin, 85, of Pell City, will be held on Saturday, February 8 at 2pm from the Chapel of Kilgroe Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 1 until 2 pm at the funeral home.

Ms. Martin passed away January 27, 2014. She is preceded in death by her husbands, George R. Phillips and Ed Martin; parents, Albert & Caroline Freeman; 2 brothers, Grady and George Freeman; 1 grandson, Donald Rhodes. She is survived by step-son, Rayburn (Tanya) Martin; 3 daughters, Patricia (James) Rhodes, Christine Phillips (special friend Lin Walley), Janie (Larry) Whitaker; brother, Grover (Martha Ann) Freeman; 10 grandchildren, Sharon, David, Mike and Chris Rhodes, Amanda Hernandez, Stacey Thompson, Bradley Whitaker, Michaela, Joshua and Blake; several great-grandchildren & great-great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
