Springville Middle School held a “Pink Out” for the volleyball game on Oct. 13 with 7th and 8th grade teachers vs 8th grade volleyball girls.

Springville Elementary School second graders learned about adding by using place value blocks in math class on Oct. 17.

The Springville Public Library hosted author meet and greet, book signing, and reception on Oct. 7 with local author, licensed professional counselor, Sally Self and her debut novel “Frost and Fervor.” The novel was written for teens and young adults dealing with anxiety and depression.

Springville Parks and Recreation was chosen as a recipient of the T-Mobile Hometown Grant in the amount of $50,000 on Oct. 9. The City of Springville voted to match this grant to revitalize the Springville Farmers Market.Stay tuned for the progress updates on this project. #HometownGrants
