The Ashville Girls Volleyball team bested Ragland in the All County Tournament in the first round. Sadly, they lost in the second to Springville, but every loss is a lesson. Two players made the All County Team. Congratulations to Senior Rachel St. John and Junior Lydia Northam.

The Ashville Cross Country Boys Team came in fourth at Hoover. Joe Stevens and Taylor Knight continue their “run” of leading the boys and girls. Both Stevens and Knight placed third.

It’s always nice to end on a positive note. And this is a big one. The Senior Citizen Center is open. The hours are 8:00a.m. until noon Monday through Friday.
