Friday in Boaz is The Ashville High School Football Jamboree. Both junior and senior varsity teams will play. The cost is $7 and $5 for parking.

The following Monday, Ashville is having an all inclusive, all invited pep rally in the town square. All sports are being celebrated. Support our kids while enjoying the pageantry of cheerleaders, the dance line, color guard, as well as the rest of Ashville High School’s award winning band.

The Ashville Parks and Recreation Department is holding a cookie dough fundraiser to raise dough for their sports teams. Chocolate Chip, Oatmeal Raisin, M&M, and Snickerdoodle are $20 per pail. White Chocolate Macadamia Nut for $22. Each pail yields 40 one ounce cookies. Usually, we pay more for fund raising items because of the reason we’re purchasing. But that is a sweet deal.
