- The Outlet Shops of Grand River and Chick-fil-A Leeds have partnered together to collect school supply donations for Leeds Elementary and Moody Elementary schools.
The Outlet Shops of Grand River and Chick-fil-A Leeds have partnered together to collect school supply donations for Leeds Elementary and Moody Elementary schools. School supplies can be delivered to either Chick-fil-A Leeds or Grand River Guest Services located inside the Food Court until Aug. 3. City of Moody is also collecting schools supplies which may be dropped off at Moody City Hall, Moody Library or Moody Civic Center.
Moody Oktoberfest 2018 is right around the corner and plans are for a great festival scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 6 hosted by the Moody Area Chamber of Commerce. Leeds Arts Council’s August Featured Artist is Margaret Nicole Blevins. You are invited to the opening reception this Sunday afternoon, Aug. 5 from 1:30-3:30 p.m. to view her beautiful paintings at the Leeds Theatre & Arts Center. Admission is free. Her work will be in display through Sept. 8.
Moody Kid Quilts Group will meet Monday and Tuesday, Aug 6-7, at Moody City Hall to make kid quilts for Children’s Hospital for sick children.
