Ragland man dies in single-vehicle accident

A single-vehicle crash at 4:10 a.m. today, Sept. 18, has claimed the life of a Ragland man.
Joseph Devan Wilson, 23, was killed when 2010 Dodge Challenger he was driving left the roadway and overturned. Wilson, who was not wearing a seatbelt, was partially ejected and pronounced dead at the scene. The preliminary investigation indicates that speed was a factor.
The crash occurred on Alabama Highway 144 in the city limits of Ragland. Nothing further is available as Alabama State Troopers continue to investigate.
