Lisa Gaither has been named director of the Greater Pell City Chamber of Commerce.

A former workforce project manager for the Alabama Department of Postsecondary Education,  Gaither has resided in Pell City for the past decade and worked in real estate for the past two.

She succeeds Erica Grieve as the chamber’s administrator.

“I look forward to working with what’s already in place here and expanding on it,” she said Wednesday afternoon.  I’ve been reading an Alabama Policy Institute report that names Pell City as one of the 50 most business-friendly towns, which is a good thing to boast about and build on.”
