The Pell City Lady Panthers improved to 25-9 this week with a 3-2 win over area rival Hewitt Trussville.

Hewitt took the lead in the opening inning, but Pell City answered in the top of the second as Kaitlyn Houser hit a solo home run.  Hewitt moved ahead, 2-1, in the fourth before the Lady Panthers claimed the lead in the top of the sixth as Codie Lambert singled and Lexi Lawley followed up with a two-run homer.

Pitcher Alli Hall faced 28 batters, striking out six while allowing five hits.
