Henry Arnold Pike
Mr. Henry Arnold Pike, 85, of Ashville, Alabama, passed away on February 24, 2014, in Ashville. Mr. Pike was Superintendent for the City of Leeds for 27 years. He was a member of the Leeds Volunteer Fire Department for 20 years and was Captain of the Leeds Reserve Police Department for 10 years. He was a World War II veteran. He was preceded in death by his parents, Hosea & Mattie Lou Pike, and by his sisters, Emma Lou Brannon and Thelma Pike.
Survivors include his wife, Betty Jo Pike; daughter, Jo Ann Nichols; Sons, Aubrey (Diann) Pike, Ronnie (Donna) Pike, Carl (Lynette) Pike, William (Melba) Pike; Sisters, Grace McKay and Velma Green.
Service was held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 26, 2014, at Usrey Funeral Home, Pell City, by Rev. Paul Williams and Rev. Michael Curtis. Burial was in Pine Forest Cemetery. Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 26, 2014, 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., at the funeral home.
Grandsons were the pallbearers.
