Welcoming travelers with their guiding principle of “Clean Places, Friendly Faces,” Love’s Travel Stop celebrated its ribbon cutting.

Excited to have this well-known branded business in St. Clair county, Moody mayor Joe Lee, St. Clair County Commission chairman Stan Batemon, Moody Area Chamber of Commerce executive director Andrea Machen and other notable supporters joined Love’s General Manager Broderick Lane and Love’s District Manager Creig Roberts in celebrating their opening.

“Love’s is a family owned business with 310 locations,” said Lane. “We strive to give the best customer service and enjoy giving back to the community.”

Partnering with the Moody Miracle League, Love’s has already donated $2,000 to the league.

“We have 170 players this year,” said Mary Chambliss. “We’re the biggest Miracle League in the state. We’re so thankful to Love’s.”

Conveying his excitement for Love’s choosing Moody, Lee said, “It’s truly a special day. A lot of work went into this and having Love’s here will make a tremendous difference for the City of Moody. We’re happy y’all are here.”

Echoing his sentiment, Batemon added, “We’re extremely happy and proud to have a place like Love’s in St. Clair County (this is Love’s second St. Clair location as the first is in Steele). Having this caliber of business in this county makes things better for everyone. Love’s is a very important part of our community.”
