During Labor Day weekend officers conducted traffic enforcement to increase safety and awareness.  During this time, officers issued 194 citations.

Four officers participated in the Click-it-or-Ticket Campaign during this time period.  Those officers (included in the above totals) issued 167 citations, 75 warnings, made 4 misdemeanor arrests and 3 felony arrests.

“I am very proud of the proactive traffic safety enforcement these officers conducted during this critical time,” Pell City Police Chief Greg Turley said.
