Working with the mission of “one community, one family, one heart” this first time event seeks to establish community unity using the slogan “We are Leeds!”
Created to “celebrate students and promote community spirit,” the Optimist Club of Leeds continues on with Optimist International’s mission of “Bringing out the best in youth.”
Currently the club is seeking sponsors.
Title sponsors are $500 and will receive their name on advertising banners, sponsorship board and signs, recognition by event emcee, 10×15 booth on the track as well as three minutes of microphone time on stage.
Two hundred dollars will clinch a Green and White sponsorship where individuals, businesses, political groups or other interested parties will attain a 10×10 booth, recognition by the event emcee and their name listed on the sponsorship board.
“This is a community wide event that will foster community improvement for the betterment of Leeds,” said Optimist Club of Leeds board member Scott Bowden.
Operating with a purpose “to develop optimism as a philosophy of life,” the Optimist Club of Leeds looks forward to making the Back to School Extravaganza an annual event.
