Suiting up in their black and white spots complete with tails, the Cordar family jumped on the chance to receive a free meal from Chick-Fil-A.
Ordering a kids meal, spicy chicken and the original Chick-Fil-A chicken sandwich, the Cordars enjoyed their treats.
Getting in the spirit of things, seven-year-old Ethan and his brother ten-year-old Matthew Cordar along with their grandmother Diane Cordar gathered items to make homemade costumes.
In town from Scuba, Mississippi for some summertime fun with their grandmother, Diane said they found out about Cow Appreciation Day through Chick-Fil-A email updates.
“We’ve done this once before,” Diane said. “I used to work at First Baptist Academy and I brought everyone.”
Striving to continue branding themselves within the St. Clair County community, Chick-Fil-A has several upcoming events.
This Saturday, July 21 at 4:30 p.m., the Leeds Chick-Fil-A hosts Daddy/Daughter Date Night and on Friday, August 3rd at 8 a.m. breakfast eaters are welcomed to enjoy breakfast with the Chick-Fil-A cow.
Leeds Chick-Fil-A Marketing Director David Fallin looks forward to continuing to provide fun ways to bring the community together.
