Mary Ellen Sparks shares her inspiring story Friday, July 27 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. as she signs her book Candy Kisses My Miracle From God at Odenville Library.

Described by Sparks as “a very emotional, powerful, tear jerking faith driven book with a happy ending,” Candy Kisses is about a 12-year-old girl who battled three life threatening diseases.

“Candy actually died for about five minutes and had to have her heart shocked back to beating,” said Sparks.
