Dr. Jim McClendon, Chairman of the House Health Committee; spoke out about his views on the new Health Care Law, put into place June 28th of this year. McClendon believes that the new law is taking away American’s freedoms. He says that the law may be an example of what the states need to do for their people themselves.

But McClendon doesn’t agree with the way the government is going about requiring health insurance. He says that it will have a huge effect on businesses. McClendon did say that he hopes, “We elect a conservative president, and that we retain a republican nominated House.”
