JACQUELINE FRENCH LEE

Jacqueline French Lee, 83, known as Jackie Lee to her friends and family, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on June 22, 2012. She is preceded in death by her loving husband of 47 years, Dr. Culver Lee; her parents, Grover Roscoe French and Willie Pearl White French; her brother, James French; sister, Grover Nell Beckham; two great-grandsons, Jonathan Lynn and Joshua Lynn.
Mrs. Lee was a member of First Baptist Church of Pell City, the Daughters of the American Revolution and was active in many civic organizations throughout the years. She graduated from the University of Alabama in Home Economics. She was known for her hospitality and pound cakes.
Jackie was a devoted mother and grandmother. She is survived by one son, Steven Culver Lee and his wife Anne; two daughters, Janet Lee Wise and her husband Jerry, and Jennifer Lee Cohron and her husband Terry; one brother, John French; three sisters, Suzanne Burdeshaw, Joyce Wise, and Claire Seith; nine grandchildren, and eleven great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were Monday, June 25th, 3 PM, from the Kilgroe Funeral Home in Pell City with interment in the Valley Hill Cemetery.
