Leeds Chamber banquet date set

Celebrating accomplishments and the continued efforts of how the City of Leeds comes together as a community, the Leeds Area Chamber of Commerce (LACC) hosts its annual banquet Friday, January 27, 2012.
The banquet is open to the public. Tickets are $25 per person. Please RSVP to LACC Executive Director Sandra McGuire no later than Friday, January 20.
The 2012 banquet will be held at Leeds First United Methodist Church’s Family Life Center located at 1189 6th Street, just behind the Imogene Wright Falletta visitor center in historic downtown Leeds.
Awards for Citizen of the Year, Business of the Year, Teacher of the Year and Non-Profit Club/Organization of the Year will be given along with David Lamb, co-host of NBC 13’s Daytime Alabama, in the spotlight as the banquet’s guest speaker.
Dress is business casual. The event starts at 7pm. Dinner is provided.

As stated on the chamber’s website, www.leedsareachamber.com, LACC “is an information bureau, a business resource tool and a liaison between city government and the business community.”
