On Wednesday, October 26, 2011, the Pell City Lions donated $250 to the Marianna Greene Henry Special Equestrians Foundation. This group is participating in Special Olympics at Troy, Alabama later this year.

MGH Special Equestrian Program serves the Alabama Institute for Deaf and Blind; MGH is a private foundation 501(c) 3 relying on donations to cover operational expenses, horse upkeep, tack & feed, Special Olympics and other expenses.

MGH provides quality equine therapy services for the challenged students of AIDB.
