Mrs. Emma C. Rich Gulledge
Emma C. Rich Gulledge, age 87, of Leeds, Alabama, was born on August 6, 1924 and passed away on November 16, 2011.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Minnie Kincainer Rich; father, Chester D. Rich; brother, Dudley Rich; sisters, Margaret Rich Standifer, Chestine Rich Walls and Martha Rich Hogg; brother, Jerry D. Rich.
Mrs. Gulledge is survived by her son, Duddly E. Gulledge and wife, Wanda Fay; three grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; brother-in-law, Charles Verne Hogg; numerous nieces and nephews and lots of friends.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
Mr. Johnny L. Hollis
Services for Johnny L. Hollis, age 59, of Trussville, AL will be held today, Thursday, October 6, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at Kilgroe Funeral Home Leeds Chapel with burial following in the Fairview Cemetery. The family received friends from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 5, 2011 at the funeral home in Leeds.
Mr. Hollis passed away Monday, October 3, 2011.
He is survived by his wife, Teresa Hollis; daughters, Vickie Eason (Steve) and Kristinna Hollis; sons, Joshua Hollis and Kristopher Hollis (Brittany); sister, Mary Keith; brothers Joe Hollis (Shelia), Lem Hollis (Sue), Billy Hollis, Jacky Hollis, and Jimmy Hollis; along with four grandchildren.

Mr. Wayne LyDale Hollis
Wayne LyDale Hollis, age 64, of Cook Springs, AL passed away on Wednesday, November 16, 2011.
Funeral services were held on Friday, November 18, 2011, 2 PM, at Kilgroe Funeral Home in Pell City with Bro. Rickey Alldredge officiating. Burial followed in the Oak Ridge Cemetery. The family received friends 12 – 2 PM prior to the service.
Preceding him in death are his parents, Dee and Margaret Hollis and his brother, Jack Hollis.
Mr. Hollis is survived by his brothers Buddy Hollis and Bobby Joe (Connie) Hollis; and sister, Patricia Shirley.

Mrs. Margaret M. Jones
A chapel funeral service for Margaret M. Jones was held on Thursday, November 17, 2011, 2 PM, at Collier-Butler Funeral Home in Gadsden, AL with Bro. Bill Davis, Rev. T. V. Burroughs, and Rev. Doug Baker officiating. Burial followed in the Gum Springs Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family received friends from 12 – 2 PM prior to the service.
Margaret was called home to with her Lord on November 15, 2011. She was a member of Rainbow City Church of God.
Preceding her in death are her parents, Max & Eugenia Nabors; husband, Edward E. Jones; son, Jerry W. Jones, brother, James Nabors, and sisters, Hazel Parr and Dorothy Puttman.
Survivors include her sister, Sara Roberts; brother, Bobby Nabors; grandsons, Christopher and Kristi (Epperson) Jones, and Michael and Belinda (Tucker) Jones; great-grandsons, Josh, CJ, Justis, Kane, and Braden; great-great granddaughters, Shelby and Augusta; granddaughter-in-law, Lila Jones, and a host of special nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Pallbearers will be Lonnie Jones, Danny Puttman, Brian Roberts, CJ McMurrey, Gregory Stewart, and Wess Mundy.

Mr. Lamar Sanders
Funeral services for Lamar Sanders, age 79, of Ragland, AL took place on Wednesday, November 23, 2011, 11 AM, at Usrey Funeral Home in Pell City with Bro. Doug Ford, and Bro. James Sampley officiating. Burial followed in the Ragland United Methodist Cemetery.
The family received friends from 9:30 – 11 AM prior to the service.
Mr. Sanders passed away on Sunday, November 20, 2011 in Pell City.
Pallbearers for the service were Jimmy Phillips, Lyman Lovejoy, Ray Sanders, Allen Sanders, Glenn Jackson, and Phil Hare. Honorary Pallbearers were Alfred Barksdale and John McEwen.
Surviving Mr. Sanders is his daughter, Cindy Sanders; brother, Buford (Margaret) Sanders; sister, Elaine (Buddy) Lee and Lynette Yates; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
As we celebrate the life of Lamar Sanders we remember a devoted husband and father. Lamar tenderly and patiently cared for his wife who suffered from MS for many years. He was an avid gardener and farmer. He especially loved gourds and wildflowers. Lamar took delight in giving to others, often to people he had just met, to add a little cheer to their lives.
A special thanks to Dr. Tuck, Dr. Scarbrough, Dr. Frosina, and the ICU nurses on the 4th floor of St. Vincent’s St. Clair. The family sincerely appreciated their compassion and kindness during the most trying of times.
