On Monday, Pell City employees celebrated Halloween with a cupcake contest, Halloween costume contest and a hot dog luncheon.  Employees of each administrative office set up decorations and dressed in costumes to match the décor.  Mayor Hereford and employees in his office dressed alike as “The Birds and the Bees.”  Library employees dressed as pageant participants, wearing costumes provided by Glitz & Glamour.  Water department employees dressed as scuba divers under the sea.  Municipal court employees decorated their offices to re-create a prison cell and dressed as prisoners locked away for crimes committed.  Winners of the contest, employees of the Building and Revenue Department, dressed as motorcycle enthusiasts and bikers, sporting leather jackets and painted-on tattoos.
