One person was killed and two others wounded during a shooting incident in Leeds on Sunday, July 10.
Officials with the Leeds Police Department responded to Cedar Grove Apartments on Douglas Avenue at approximately 1:50 a.m. Sunday. Police found three people had gunshot wounds.
According to officials Regina Dozier, 22, of Leeds and Alvin Martin, 25, of Birmingham were transported by ambulance to UAB Hospital with wounds. Both have been released.
A third person, Thomas Roy Hill Hopkins, 22, of Birmingham died on the scene.
The investigation is ongoing.
The LPD was assisted by the Moody Police Department, St. Clair County Sheriff’s Office, the Jefferson County Coroners Office and the Leeds Fire Department.
