From 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday, the come-and-go luncheon will take place at the First Baptist Church of Pell City. A $10 ticket provides lunch and local entertainment during the period.
“In the past, we’ve made this our main focus for fundraising as well as a way to raise awareness,” said Pam Kelley, director of Children’s Place. “We’re trying to make people aware that we’re here and what we’re doing, and of course, certainly about child abuse.”
Funds raised through the event help Children’s Place’s prevention and treatment programs.
Also going on through April, Trend Setters Salon is offering blue hair extensions for $10, with the money also going to Children’s Place.
