Pell City Felony Police Reports

From January 2010 to June 2010, the Pell City had these major felony crimes: one kidnapping; two robberies; six violent assaults; eight sex crimes; 26 breaking and entering vehicles; 26 burglaries; 30 white collar; and 51 theft first and second.
Compared to a similar sampling from January 2009 to June 2009, felony thefts have decreased 63 percent, felony burglaries have decreased 51 percent, felony breaking and entering vehicles has decreased 48 percent, felony white collar crimes has decreased 52 percent, felony sex crimes has decreased 20 percent, felony assaults has decreased 50 percent, robbery has increased by 50 percent and kidnapping has increased by one, which is 100 percent.
