Jim McClendon cuts the ribbon commemorating new playground equipment in Springville, some of the racers in the Big Springs Fun Run are already in stride. Rep. McClendon helped to provide $20,000 worth of funds through the state for equipment at Big Springs Park. The first phase of the playground equipment has already been installed and the second will come before summer. The third phase will feature a splash pad.
